of <h1>India Updates Import Rules for Marble and Artificial Stones in Chapters 25 and 68 of ITC (HS) Policy</h1> The Government of India has amended Schedule-I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 2004-09 under the Foreign Trade Policy. The amendments include changes to import licensing notes in Chapters 25 and 68. For Chapter 25, the import of marble will adhere to conditions specified in several policy circulars issued between 2008 and 2009. For Chapter 68, the import of rough or unprocessed blocks and slabs of agglomerated/artificial stones will follow conditions outlined in relevant policy circulars from 2008 and 2009. These amendments are issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
