<h1>Ownership Transfer Under Section 24: Goods on Approval Become Buyer's Property on Acceptance or After Reasonable Time Lapse.</h1> Under Section 24 of the Sales of Goods Act, 1930, when goods are delivered to a buyer on approval or 'on sale or return' terms, ownership transfers to the buyer if they indicate acceptance or perform any act adopting the transaction. If the buyer neither accepts nor rejects the goods but retains them, ownership passes upon the expiration of a set return period or, if no period is specified, after a reasonable time.
