of <h1>Rule 15: Nominate Beneficiaries for Social Security Certificates with Forms 1, 2, or 3 Before Maturity</h1> Rule 15 of the Social Security Certificates Rules, 1982, outlines the process for nominating beneficiaries for certificates in the event of the holder's death. The holder can nominate individuals at the time of purchase using Form 1 or later before maturity using Form 2. Nominations can be canceled or changed with Form 3, and separate applications are required for certificates registered on different dates. All changes must be registered at the Head Office, and the registration date marks when the nomination, cancellation, or variation becomes effective.
