of <h1>Social Security Certificates amendment clarifies pledgee terminology, replaces Head Post Office with Post Office and removes messenger provisions.</h1> Amends the Social Security Certificates Rules, 1982, with effect from 1 June 1982: replaces the word 'pledge' with 'pledgee' in proviso to sub-rule (1) of rule 13, substitutes 'Post Office' for 'Head Post Office' in sub-rule (4) of rule 15, and alters Form 1 by deleting the clause permitting a messenger to present the application and removing the word 'messenger' from paragraph 8 under 'RECEIPT OF CERTIFICATE(S)'. These changes modify terminology and remove messenger-presentation and receipt language in the certificate form, affecting execution and administrative processing of certificates.
