Appellate Tribunal requisitions and returned cases are to be handled by the designated bench unless senior officers direct otherwise. Where a requisition is received from the High Court under the appellate statute or where a case is referred back under the return provision, it shall be dealt with by the bench referred to in rule 40 unless otherwise directed by the President or the Senior Vice President or the Vice President.
