Specialized Investment Fund: this chapter governs applicability and preserves wider mutual fund rules unless specifically displaced. This chapter applies to a Specialized Investment Fund and provides that, except where this chapter makes specific provisions, the broader mutual fund regulations, guidelines and circulars continue to apply to the fund, its investment strategies, trustees and asset management companies.
