Withdrawal of appeal: appellant may apply before the final order; approval required if acknowledgment issued within set timelines. An appellant may apply to withdraw an appeal at any time before issuance of the final order; if an acknowledgment has been issued, withdrawal requires appellate authority approval and the authority must decide the withdrawal application within seven days. Any fresh appeal after withdrawal must be filed within the statutory filing period for appeals under the Act.
