Seizure of goods: provisional release requires a bond and bank guarantee; guarantee may be encashed if goods aren't produced. Seized goods or packing machines may be released provisionally only after execution of a bond in FORM HSNS BND-01 and furnishing a bank guarantee equal to the applicable cess, interest, and penalty; failure to produce the items when required permits encashment of the guarantee and application of proceeds against cess, interest, penalty, and fines.
