of <h1>Filing HSNS appeals in FORM HSNS APL-01: acknowledgement sets filing date; missing order copy shifts date by 7 days</h1> An appeal to the appellate authority under section 29(1) or 29(2) must be filed in FORM HSNS APL-01 with relevant documents, including the grounds of appeal and a copy of the impugned decision or order. The appellate authority or an authorised officer must immediately issue an acknowledgement with an appeal number; the appeal is treated as filed only upon issuance of this acknowledgement. The acknowledgement date is deemed the filing date, but if a self-certified copy of the decision or order is not submitted within seven days of filing, the filing date shifts to the date on which such copy is submitted.
