of <h1>Fee of Rs. 200 per day for late submission of documents under Income-tax Act sections</h1> Where certain research associations, universities, colleges, institutions, companies, or funds fail to deliver prescribed documents or statements or furnish required certificates within the prescribed time under specified sections of the Income-tax Act, they are liable to pay a fee of Rs. 200 for each day of default. This fee shall not exceed the amount related to the failure and must be paid before the delayed statement or certificate is submitted.
