of <h1>Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 makes Special Public Prosecutors appointed by Central Government subject to Sanhita procedures and bail rules</h1> The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 governs procedure (including bail and bonds) in proceedings before a Special Court unless this Act provides otherwise; the person conducting prosecution is treated as a Public Prosecutor. The Central Government may appoint Special Public Prosecutors for particular cases or groups. Appointees must have practiced as an advocate for at least seven years and possess special legal knowledge. Anyone appointed under this provision is deemed a Public Prosecutor within the meaning of the Sanhita and subject to its applicable provisions.
