of <h1>Valuer registration and valuers organisation recognition breaches: authority may suspend or cancel status u/r 17 process</h1> The authority is empowered to cancel or suspend (i) the registration of a valuer or (ii) the recognition of a registered valuers organisation where there is a violation of the Act, any other law under which the person is permitted to perform valuation, these Rules, or any condition attached to the registration or recognition. Such cancellation or suspension must be carried out in the manner prescribed under rule 17, with the operative effect that the valuer's registration or the organisation's recognition may be withdrawn or kept in abeyance in accordance with that procedure.
