of <h1>Valuers under 2017 Rules could operate without registration until Jan 31, 2019; extensions and omissions noted.</h1> Under the Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Rules, 2017, individuals providing valuation services as of the rules' commencement date could continue without a registration certificate until January 31, 2019. If a company appointed a valuer before this date and the valuation was incomplete by January 31, 2019, the valuer had three additional months to complete it. The deadlines were adjusted through notifications, with the initial deadline set for March 31, 2018, and later extended. Certain explanations regarding the applicability of these rules to valuations under other laws were omitted in a subsequent notification.
