GST compliance rating enables assignment, periodic updating and public disclosure of a registrant's compliance score under prescribed parameters. A statutory scheme empowers the Government to assign a goods and services tax compliance rating score to every registered person based on their record of compliance; the score is to be determined by prescribed parameters, may be updated periodically, and must be intimated to the registered person and placed in the public domain as prescribed.
