Claim to unclaimed fund requires claimant to prove entitlement; institution must promptly pay with interest and discharge liability. Claims to amounts transferred to the Senior Citizens' Welfare Fund must be made to the Institution where the amount originally lay before the right is extinguished; the applicant bears the onus of proving entitlement, the Institution must consider the application expeditiously and pay the principal with eligible interest within the prescribed period, and such payment discharges the Institution from further liability in respect of the amount credited to the Fund.
