of <h1>Tax Rate under Section 115A Reduced from 25% to 10% by Finance Act, 2015, Effective April 1, 2016.</h1> Section 115A of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 2015, effective April 1, 2016. In sub-section (1), clause (b), both sub-clauses (A) and (B) have been revised to reduce the tax rate from 'twenty-five per cent.' to 'ten per cent.' This amendment reflects a decrease in the applicable tax rate for the specified provisions within this section.
