of <h1>Finance Act 2015 amends Section 245-O: Law member from Indian Legal Service to be appointed as Additional Secretary.</h1> Section 245-O of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 2015. In sub-section (3), clause (d) has been replaced. The new clause specifies that a law member from the Indian Legal Service, who is or is qualified to be an Additional Secretary to the Government of India, will be appointed.
