Rule 26 - Order to be signed and to bear date

Order signature and dating requirement: orders must be signed and dated by all bench members and record last hearing date.

Every order must be in writing and signed and dated by the Members of the Bench, with the first page recording the last date of hearing. If dictated on the Bench the dictation date is the final order date; if reserved the pronouncement date is the final order date. Where a gist is pronounced before a detailed order, the first paragraph of the detailed order must state the date of that gist; if Members sign on different dates, the latest signature date is treated as the date of the final order.
