Non-discriminatory safeguard duty: uniform application of transitional product-specific duties to all imports from the designated origin. Safeguard duties under section 8C must be imposed on a non-discriminatory basis, and any duty under rule 10 or rule 12 of the Customs Tariff (Transitional Product Specific Safeguard Duty) Rules, 2002 shall apply uniformly to all imports of the specified article from the designated foreign origin.
