Sale of attached property: authority may order public auction and fix a reserve price to secure recovery of dues. Where a Certificate demands payment for government dues and the specified amount together with detention costs remains unpaid within the prescribed period following attachment, the competent revenue authority may direct the proper officer to realise the debt by sale of the defaulter's property by public auction; the authority may fix a reserve price and require that bids be accepted only if not less than that reserve price.
