<h1>Rule 10: Notice Issued to Defaulters Prohibits Transfer of Co-Owned Property Share for Recovery of Government Dues.</h1> Rule 10 of the Customs (Attachment of Property of Defaulters for Recovery of Government Dues) Rules, 1995, addresses the attachment of a defaulter's share in co-owned property. If the property to be attached includes the defaulter's share or interest in property co-owned with another party, the attachment is executed by issuing a notice to the defaulter. This notice prohibits the defaulter from transferring or charging their share or interest in the property in any manner.
