Attachment of property in custody: notice to court or public officer to hold assets pending recovery. When property to be attached is in the custody of a court or public officer, the Proper Officer must notify that court or officer to hold the property and any accruing interest or dividends subject to the Proper Officer's further orders; if custody is with a court, the court will determine questions of title or priority between the Proper Officer and any other person (not the defaulter) claiming an interest by assignment, attachment or otherwise.
