        Project Imports Scheme inclusion expands import concessions for high-speed rail projects; sponsoring authority designated to approve required imports. High-Speed Rail projects are included in the Project Imports Scheme, making them eligible for project-specific import treatment under the Project Import Regulations. A designated Sponsoring Authority is empowered to approve the items to be imported under the scheme for High-Speed Rail Projects, centralising approval of project imports for that project class.
