Temporal applicability of the excise provision amended by substituting the operative temporal wording to change its applicability period. The amendment substitutes the temporal wording in sub section (1) of the provision, replacing the existing operative phrase with an alternative temporal phrase and thereby changing the period to which the provision applies; the change is effected solely by textual replacement of the specified words, figures and letters.
