of <h1>Finance Act 2003 amends Expenditure-tax Act: New deadline added to Section 4(a), effective June 1, 2003.</h1> Section 4 of the Expenditure-tax Act is amended by the Finance Act, 2003. In clause (a), the phrase 'but not after the 31st day of May, 2003' is added immediately following 'the commencement of this Act.' This amendment takes effect from June 1, 2003.
