of <h1>Finance Act 2003 amends Customs Act Section 136 to include acts aiding fraudulent exports.</h1> Section 136 of the Customs Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 2003. In subsection (1), the phrase 'connives at any act or thing whereby' is replaced with 'connives at any act or thing, whereby any fraudulent export is effected or.' This amendment broadens the scope of the provision to explicitly include acts of connivance that facilitate fraudulent exports.
