of <h1>Finance Bill 2008 amends tariff rates: Rs. 90 & Rs. 145 per thousand for item 2402 20; 1% on phones.</h1> The Eighth Schedule of the Finance Bill, 2008, amends the Seventh Schedule of the Finance Act, 2001. It revises tariff rates for certain items: tariff item 2402 20 10 is updated to 'Rs. 90 per thousand' and 2402 20 20 to 'Rs. 145 per thousand.' New tariff items for telephones for cellular or other wireless networks are introduced, with a duty rate of 1%. Additionally, specific sub-headings and tariff items related to textile products are omitted.
