of <h1>Section 13 Amendment: Unit Trust of India Act, 2002, Alters Timeframe Retroactively Effective from February 1, 2008.</h1> In the Unit Trust of India (Transfer of Undertaking and Repeal) Act, 2002, section 13, subsection (1) is amended to replace the phrase 'for a period of five years computed from the appointed day' with 'for the period beginning on the appointed day and ending on the 31st day of March, 2009.' This amendment is retroactively effective from February 1, 2008, as per the Finance Bill of 2008.
