of <h1>Finance Bill 2008: Excise Tariff Updates in Chapters 24, 25, 39, and 85, Including Tariff and Note Revisions</h1> The Seventh Schedule of the Finance Bill, 2008, amends the Central Excise Tariff Act. Changes include revisions in Chapter 24, where tariff item 2402 20 10 is updated to 'Rs. 659 per thousand' and item 2402 20 20 to 'Rs.1068 per thousand.' In Chapter 25, tariff item 2523 10 00 is revised to 'Rs. 450 per tonne.' Chapter 39's NOTE 16 now includes 'metallization or lamination or lacquering.' Additionally, Chapter 85's tariff item 8523 80 20 is updated to '12%.'
