Consent for admission of partner required; incoming partners are not liable for firm acts predating their admission. Admission of a new partner requires the consent of all existing partners, subject to any contractual arrangements among them and to statutory limitations; an incoming partner does not become liable for acts of the firm done before he became a partner, unless the partners' contract or other applicable provision provides otherwise.
