of <h1>Finance Act 1984 revises Section 80CC: Shares must be publicly offered by April 1, 1987.</h1> Section 80CC of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act of 1984. In sub-section (3), clause (c) has been replaced. The new clause specifies that shares forming part of an issue must be offered for public subscription, and this offer must be made by the company before April 1, 1987.
