of <h1>Income-tax Act Update: Section 269C Threshold Raised to Rs. 100,000 from Rs. 25,000 Effective June 1, 1984.</h1> Section 269C of the Income-tax Act has been amended by the Finance Act, 1984. In sub-section (1), the monetary threshold has been increased from twenty-five thousand rupees to one hundred thousand rupees, effective from June 1, 1984.
