of <h1>Income-tax Act Section 80M Amended: 'Sixty Percent of Such Income' Clause Added, Clauses (a) and (b) Removed.</h1> Section 80M of the Income-tax Act is amended, effective April 1, 1985, by the Finance Act of 1984. The amendment modifies sub-section (1) by replacing the phrase 'an amount equal to -' with 'an amount equal to sixty per cent. of such income.' Additionally, clauses (a) and (b) in the same section are omitted.
