of <h1>Chairperson and members of Competition Appellate Tribunal must take oath as per Rule 17 of 2009 Rules.</h1> Every individual appointed as the Chairperson or a member of the Competition Appellate Tribunal must take an oath of office and secrecy before assuming their role. This requirement is detailed in Rule 17 of the 2009 Rules concerning the salaries, allowances, and other service conditions for the Chairperson and members. The oath is to be made using Form I and Form II annexed to these rules. Previous requirements for the oath to be taken before specific officials were removed via a notification in 2009.
