Oath of Office requires Chairperson or Member to affirm faithful, impartial discharge of duties without fear or favour. Form I under rule 17 prescribes an oath requiring the Chairperson or Member to solemnly affirm or swear to faithfully and conscientiously discharge their duties to the best of their ability, knowledge and judgment, expressly without fear or favour, affection or ill-will, with place, date, signature, name and designation recorded.
