Leave Travel Concession for Tribunal Chairperson Matches Supreme Court Judge; Members Get Top Grade Pensioner Benefits.
Rule 11 of the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Other Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and Other Members) Rules, 2009, addresses Leave Travel Concession. It specifies that a serving or retired Judge of the Supreme Court or Chief Justice of a High Court appointed as Chairperson is entitled to the same Leave Travel Concession as a serving Judge or Chief Justice. Members of the Appellate Tribunal receive Leave Travel Concession for themselves and their families, equivalent to that of re-employed pensioners at the highest grade in the Central Government.
