of <h1>Amendment to Competition Appellate Tribunal Rules: Rule 17 Reporting Requirements Removed by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued an amendment to the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2009, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette. The amendment modifies Rule 17 by removing specific references to reporting requirements to the Minister-in-charge of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Chairperson. This notification, identified as G.S.R. 339(E), was released on May 15, 2009, under the authority granted by the Competition Act, 2002.
