          <h1>Restriction on warehouse operations: Government may prohibit specified manufacturing processes in relation to classes of goods by notification.</h1> The amendment inserts a proviso in section 65(1) of the Customs Act empowering the Central Government, if satisfied of public interest, to specify by notification the manufacturing processes and other operations in relation to a class of goods that shall not be permitted in a warehouse.
