<h1>Section 30A of Limitation Act: Filing Timeframes for Suits, Appeals, or Applications Post-Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019</h1> Section 30A of the Limitation Act, 1963, addresses the timeframe for initiating suits, appeals, or applications where the prescribed period is shorter than that under the Limitation Act, Samvat 1995. It allows such suits to be filed within one year after the commencement of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, or within the period prescribed by the Samvat 1995 Act, whichever is earlier. For appeals or applications, they may be made within ninety days post-commencement of the Reorganisation Act or within the Samvat 1995 period, whichever expires first.
