Absorption of deputation employees eligible if qualified, considered suitable, they opt in, and parent department consents. Rule 10 provides that deputation appointees who meet prescribed qualifications and experience and are deemed suitable by the Departmental Promotion Committee may be absorbed into the corresponding grade if they exercise the option for absorption and if their parent department or cadre controlling authority has no objection; seniority after absorption is determined by the date of absorption to the post concerned.
