For deputationists, provident fund, group/other insurance schemes, superannuation age, pension and retirement benefits are to remain governed by the rules of their parent organisation, with the operative consequence that their existing retirement and social security entitlements continue unchanged. The Tribunal must recover scheme contributions from salary and promptly remit them to the lending organisation, and must bear any loss of interest caused by delayed remittance. Employees may opt for medical facilities under their parent organisation or as per Schedule II, enabling an election between the two medical benefit regimes.
