          <h1>Amendment Aligns Registered and Recognized Associations Under Sections 8 and 12B of Forward Contracts Act 1952.</h1> Sections 8 and 12B of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952, are applicable to registered associations in the same manner as they apply to recognized associations. The application includes substituting references to recognized associations with registered associations and changing the duration mentioned in subsection (2) of section 12B from 'three years' to 'two years.' This amendment was introduced by Act 62 of 1960, effective from December 28, 1960.
