Withdrawal of recognition allows central government to revoke association recognition after hearing while preserving prior contracts and ensuring performance. Central Government may withdraw recognition of an association in the interest of trade or public interest after giving the association a reasonable opportunity to be heard, by notification in the Official Gazette; such withdrawal does not affect the validity of contracts entered into before the notification, and the Government may provide in the notification or a subsequent notification for the due performance of any outstanding contracts.
