Applications and notifications under regulation 17 must be certified as true and correct by specific individuals: for intermediaries, by a whole-time director and compliance officer; for listed companies, by a whole-time director and company secretary or auditor; and for investors, by themselves. Misrepresentation can lead to the revocation of the unique identification number.
