Power to make regulations: Government may notify regulations consistent with the Act to carry out its provisions. The Government is authorised to issue regulations by notification to implement the statutory scheme; such regulations must be consistent with the Act and the rules made thereunder and are limited to carrying out the provisions of the Act.
