Sums payable notwithstanding appeal: orders by appellate tribunals or the High Court remain enforceable pending further appeal. Sums due to the Government pursuant to orders of National, Regional, State or Area Benches of the Appellate Tribunal, or an order passed by the High Court under the revision provision, are payable in accordance with the operative order notwithstanding that an appeal has been preferred to a higher court.
