Power to collect statistics enables Commissioner to require information and returns for GST matters by notification. The power to collect statistics authorises the Commissioner to direct by notification that statistics be collected on matters under the Act, and to require concerned persons, or authorised agents, to furnish information or returns in the prescribed form and manner.
