of <h1>Section 5A of Central Excise Act Amended: Immediate Effect for Notifications, Removal of Sub-section (6)</h1> In the Central Excise Act, 1944, section 5A is amended by substituting sub-section (5) with a new provision stating that notifications issued under sub-section (1) or (2A) will take effect on the date they are issued by the Central Government for publication in the Official Gazette, unless stated otherwise. Additionally, sub-section (6) is removed.
