of <h1>Finance Act 2016 Amends NDPS Act: Section 68B Modified, Section 68N Substituted, Section 76(2)(db) Omitted</h1> The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 was amended effective June 1, 2016, by the Finance Act, 2016. Changes include the modification of section 68B, replacing certain words with 'referred to in.' Section 68N was substituted to designate the Appellate Tribunal from the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976, as the tribunal for appeals against specific orders. Additionally, clause (db) in sub-section (2) of section 76 was omitted.
