Director identification number change notification: update particulars electronically with certified verification and government record amendment. An individual allotted a Director Identification Number must notify the Central Government of any change in particulars by electronically submitting the designated form with proof; the form must be digitally signed by a practising chartered accountant, company secretary or cost accountant. The Ministry will verify the proofs, record the changes in its electronic database, and inform the applicant. The DIN cell will also inform the relevant Registrar(s) and the individual must notify companies of which he is a director.
